Arizona Non-Resident Class


Course Fee: The cost for the 4 Hr course is $65.00. The cost of the 8 Hr course is $120.00.  includes range times, course instruction, fingerprints, application, postage, snacks and refreshments.


Course Duration:  4 or 8 hours of classroom


Equipment needed: Government issued Photo ID, certified check made out to AZ DPS in the amount of $60.00, firearm, 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection


More Details:  This course meets the requirements for an Arizona non-resident CCW permit.  This course is 4 or 8 hours in duration (your choice, we offer both).   The 4 hour course is classroom only. The 8 hour course takes place in a classroom and range setting. This class will contain live fire range time. Students learn basic rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals, shooting positions; legal aspects, firearm maintenance/storage, qualify / show firearms proficiency.

Florida Non-Resident Course



Course Fee: $100.00 includes range time, course instruction, photo, application, postage, snacks and refreshments.


Course Duration:  6 hours of classroom and range qualification

Equipment needed: Copy of their driver's license or state ID card, a check for the registration fee’s $112.00 (License good for 7 years), firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition

More Details:  This course meets the requirements for a Florida non-resident CCW permit.  This course is 6 hours in duration and takes place in a classroom and range setting. This class will contain live fire range time.  Students learn basic rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals, shooting positions; legal aspects and firearm maintenance and storage.

Illinois Concealed Carry Course Resident or Non-Resident


Course Fee:                    CURRENT  ILLINOIS SPECIAL  $175.00    CALL FOR DETAILS


16 Hour Course Fee: $260.00 (does not include the permit fee of $150 resident, $300 non-resident to the State of Illinois).

12 Hour Course Fee: $180.00 (does not include the permit fee of $150 resident, $300 non-resident to the State of Illinois).

8 Hour Course Fee: $140.00  (does not include the permit fee of $150 resident, $300 non-resident to the State of Illinois).


What does the firearms training course consist of?


16/8-HOUR CURRICULUM: Initial Firearms Curriculum must be at least 16* hours of in-person instruction and cover the minimum requirements listed below.


1.   Firearm safety; Minimum 2 hours Classroom

       4 basic firearm handling safety rules

       Home storage

       Vehicle storage

       Public Storage


2.  Basic principles of marksmanship; Minimum 3 hours Classroom/Range

       Stance

       Grip

       Sight Alignment

       Sight Picture

       Trigger Control


3.  Care, cleaning, loading, and unloading of a concealable firearm; Minimum 3 hours Classroom

       Gun identification: revolver, semi-automatic, misc.

       Ammunition identification and selection

       Safety and cleaning protocols

       Cleaning equipment

       Loading and unloading


4.  All applicable State and Federal laws relating to the ownership, storage, carry, and transportation of a firearm;      Minimum 4 hours Classroom

       The Act in its entirety, with emphasis on 430 ILCS 66/10(h) which includes instruction on the appropriate and lawful         interaction with law enforcement while transporting or carrying a concealed firearm, with emphasis on 430 ILCS 66/65         which includes instruction on prohibited areas and the parking lot exception.

      The FOID Act 430 ILCS 65/1 et. Seq.  Relevant portions of the ILCS including but not limited to

           720 ILCS 5/7-1. Use of force in defense of a person**

           720 ILCS 5/7-2. Use of force in defense of dwelling**

           720 ILCS 5/7-3. Use of force in defense of other property**

           720 ILCS 24/1 et. seq. Unlawful Use of Weapons**

   ** Must define dwelling, aggressor, forcible felony and unlawful use of weapons pursuant to the ILCS.


5.  Weapon Handling; Minimum 4 hours.

       Dry fire practice drills, handgun fundamentals

       Dry fire practice drills from concealment

       Live fire practice drills, handgun fundamentals

       Live fire qualification with a concealable firearm consisting of minimum of 30 rounds which must include 10 rounds from         a distance of 5 yards; 10 rounds from a distance of 7 yards; and 10 rounds from a distance of 10 yards at a B-27         silhouette target approved by the Illinois State Police. (See www.isp.state.il.us/firearms/ccw/ccw-faq.cfm)


* The Department will accept up to 8 hours of in-person training already completed toward the 16 hour training requirement as outlined in Section 75 (i) of the Act provided those 8 hours cover the classroom and range subject matter of components #1 through #3. The additional 8 hours of training required by Sections 75 (g) and (i) of the Act will be comprised of components #4 and #5.


Equipment needed: Handgun in good operational condition, minimum two magazines or two speed loaders, strong side hip holster (must cover trigger guard), 50 rounds of factory loaded ammunition, eye and ear protection, concealment jacket or over-garment, appropriate clothing for weather, brimmed hat, notepad, bagged lunch, black pen, and pencil.


Please remember to bring proof of prior training/experience to receive training credit toward 16 hour training requirement. If you do not bring proof of training you will not receive the credit.  Fingerprints are not included

Utah Non-Resident Course


Course Fee: $100.00 includes course instruction, fingerprints, photo, application, postage, snacks and refreshments.

Course Duration:  4 hours of classroom

Equipment needed: Gov’t issued Photo ID, check or credit card for state fee $51.00 (License good for 5 years)

This course meets the requirements for a Utah non-resident CCW permit.  This course is 4 hours in duration and takes place entirely in a classroom setting. This class will contain NO live fire or range time. Students learn basic rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals, shooting positions; Utah legal aspects and firearm maintenance and storage.

Wisconsin Resident Course


Course Fee: $65.00 includes course instruction, application, postage, snacks and refreshments.


Course Duration:  4 hour of classroom and range qualification

Equipment Needed:  Gov’t issued Photo ID, check for $40.00 made payable to WI DOJ (License good for 5 years)

This course meets the requirements for a Wisconsin resident CCW permit.  This course is 4 hours in duration and takes place entirely in a classroom setting. This class will contain NO live fire or range time. Students learn basic rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals, shooting positions; Wisconsin legal aspects and firearm/safety/maintenance and storage.

Concealed Firearms permits in the State of Utah are regulated by the Bureau of Criminal Identification. A permit to carry a concealed firearm in the State of Utah may be obtained by completing the instructions, and meeting the requirements as outlined on Form 96-4-02 Application for Concealed Firearm Permit.
